The Center maintains the only database on park systems of large U.S. cities (City Park Facts); produces materials on innovations, solutions and best practices; speaks on urban parks topics to diverse audiences; consults on ways to improve park systems; and advises advocacy groups on ways to become more effective. The City Parks Alliance encourages greater involvement and investment in our nation’s city parks. It works to see city parks more fully recognized and valued for the role they play in building stronger, healthier and more livable cities. The non-profit organization fosters interest in, and support for, these dynamic public institutions through partnerships, network building, information sharing and advocacy.
