The Economics of Lower Prices for Electric Cars

A reasonably-priced electric vehicle may strike you as a contradiction in terms, but Nissan and GM have announced plans to reduce the prices on the LEAF and Volt. Even better news: they're doing this because the economics are working out right! Zachary Shahan of Cleantechnica joined us on today's Hangin' with sustainablog to discuss this news, and the potential for the growth of the EV/renewable economy.
