Actually, Burnet Woods Park, part of the Cincinnati Parks system, has a concrete slide adjacent to a large staircase. It was built as a part of the WPA program in 1940. Although the example you gave is in a train station, not a park, the example in Burnet Woods was constructed more than 70 years ago.
