Welcome to ProMetro! ProMetro is Sustainable Cities' new podcast series where we interview members of our esteemed Advisory Board on current cities and urban issues-- SCC's version of 'Fireside Chats'.
The first of these talks is with board member Warren Karlenzig, founder and president of CommonCurrent, a consulting firm that works with organizations and governments to maximize sustainability. He's got an amazing list of credentials… check his profile out at the sidebar, or in any of his recent posts. Today Warren will begin to discuss the Shanghai Manual, a major "Best Practices" sustainability guide by the UN that he was integral in drafting. The manual is aimed at large cities, to help 'leapfrog' sustainable development learning curves. It's an amazing project to be released on Halloween.
Enjoy and please leave feedback!
