On Envisioning a Havana Bike Culture

I read the same thing too before my trip to Cuba. I asked a number of Cubans about the Chinese bikes. They all laughed and said something along the lines that the bikes were crappy so they disassembled and recycled the metal, gave the bikes to a friend who no longer uses it, etc.
