Landscape: The New Infrastructure, 2 Day Symposium
Harvard University Graduate School of Design has organized a two-day symposium that seeks to change the lens through which we look at infrastructure and cities. Instead of viewing infrastructure as simply the domain of civil engineers and transportation planners and something that needs to be centrally planned and administered, the focus will shift to the role many design disciplines can play and the power of ecological systems to address the many challenges facing cities, including climate change, carbon and nitrogen pollution, and migrating populations.[read more]

“I love the term "food rescuer". This is something I'd love to do and wish I'd done in college. My friend started bike co-ops and it would've been easy to add food onto the mission.
